E Pine’s Fleet Feet is dedicating its group run Monday night to show support following this week’s Boston Marathon bombing and to raise funds for the One Fund Boston effort:
UNSTOPPABLE for Boston Run
Running stores all across America are coming together on Monday, April 22nd in support for Boston. UNSTOPPABLE for Boston is our store run to bring our greater community of runners together and show our support for those affected in Boston on Monday. On the run, we encourage you to sport your past/present Boston Marathon gear, the iconic Boston Marathon blue & yellow, or any race shirt. The run will begin at 6 pm and will be 2.62 miles. It will start and end at Fleet Feet.Following the run we’ll raise a glass of beer or juice in tribute to the departed, injured, runners, organizers, and spectators. This event will also be a fundraiser for ONE FUND BOSTON. You can ‘buy’ your beer/juice in exchange for a cash donation, and we’ll sell $1 raffle tickets for some store giveaways. The run itself is free and open to all.
