Capitol Hill’s cycling commuters will be celebrated — and given free stuff — Friday for the annual Bike to Work Day. Below, you’ll find a map of BtWD stations around the Hill including the annual bagel pit stop on 12th Ave:
Join Schemata Workshop and Central Physical Therapy & Fitness for fresh Eltana bagels, free reflectors, games, and prizes. We are located at 1720 12th Ave, on 12th Avenue between E Howell St & E Olive St. Look for the big red bike rack in front of the former Lucky Devil Tattoo Parlor.
Seattle Bike Blog calls the day “a glimpse into Seattle’s cycling future” —
The centerpiece event of the day is a morning ride from KEXP’s Dexter and Denny studio to City Hall for a rally. The ride leaves KEXP at 7:45 a.m., and the rally starts at City Hall at 8.
The Seattle Bike to Work Day station map is below. Have fun and enjoy the ride.

Free coffee for cyclists at Starbucks:
Starbucks is proud to once again support Cascade Bike Club and Bike Month in the Western Washington Area. In addition to hosting a commuter station on Bike to Work Day, we are also offering riders a free tall (12 fl. oz.) handcrafted beverage as a reward for all that extra leg work. Riders can stop by a participating Starbucks location on May 17th and show their bike helmet, cycling shoes or some other piece of bike gear to a barista in exchange for their free drink. Offer is limited to one beverage per customer on May 17, 2013 only.
