  • Kids Science Fair! Actually it’s at a college, it’s called Projects Day, andit  features projects from student teams from the schools of science, engineering, business and economics at Seattle University.   • The Love Trust, a performance piece which focuses on the nature of colonies, exchange, risk, gifts and figurative life and death experiences. Hedreen Gallery (901 12th Ave), 5 – 8p.
  • Seattle premiere of the film One Track Heart: The Story of Krishna Das opens and continues through June 13. Follow the story of a rock ‘n roll star who gave it up to journey to India and back, and his emergence as a spiritual leader. Northwest Film Forum, 7p and 9p.
  • What Cancer Eats and Why It Matters. Surprise! Cancer is a sugar addict. UW researcher Ethan Ahler reveals all at Town Hall, 6 – 7:30p.

  • Central District Boxing Revival Kickoff Party for an organization which continues the tradition of live amateur boxing in the Central District. Cappy’s Boxing Gym (1408 22nd Ave), 6 – 8p.
  • Schubertiade: Pianist Byron Schenkmen and friends perform the chamber music of Franz Schubert. Town Hall, 7 – 9p.
  • Sanctuary Burlesque features fairly queens, goblin kings, sirens, shapeshifters and more. The Narwahl (downstairs of The Unicorn (1118 E Pike St), 7p.
  • Man Without a Cell Phone: join the film’s screenwriter, Seattle-based Fred Rice, and director Samh Zaobi as they discuss the process of getting this project made, followed by a screening of the film. Northwest Film Forum, 8p.
