Hilloween 2013 brings music, the Halloween Tree and the Halloween Marching Band Costume Parade to Cal Anderson

The annual event returns for its third edition in 2013 with a move to Saturday and plenty of family friendly activities for ghouls and boys. Details below:

Hilloween Returns This October — Mini Ghosts and Ghouls Gather for a Halloween Celebration on the Hill

(Capitol Hill, WA) Presented by the Capitol Hill Chamber of Commerce, Seattle’s favorite urban Halloween event, Hilloween, returns Saturday, October 26th- and it’s sure to delight kids of all ages.  From 12:00pm to 3:30pm mini-firefighters, tiny princesses, and itty-bitty zombies alike will be tricked and treated to music, candy and plenty of fun age-appropriate activities.  The festivities will take place at Cal Anderson Park on Capitol Hill (1635 11th Ave) and will include musical performances by Caspar Babypants, Recess Monkey, and the musical stylings of DJ LA Kendall.  Enjoy an unforgettable show from Fonsi the Performing Dog, listen to a spooky story under the Halloween tree, and watch the ultimate Halloween Marching Band Costume Parade- and of course, there will be plenty of trick or treating on Broadway from local merchants.  For more information and event schedule visit www.caphilloween.com and follow on https://www.facebook.com/Hilloween.

We recommend the day as a test run for your primary 10/31 costume though we know some of you will simply show up in the your 10/25 costume that you slept in the night before. Whatever works.
