Sunday, the Sisters of The Abbey of St. Joan will hold an all-day vigil at Gay City Health’s Calamus Auditorium to mark 2013’s World AIDS Day before setting out on their annual Walking Wake. You can learn more about the day-long event and joining the wake here.

Last week, CHS caught up with Capitol Hill-based Lifelong AIDS Alliance as it gathered some of its most fabulous spokespeople for a glamorous photo shoot promoting this winter’s upcoming return of Lifelong’s Gay Bingo in February. More about the annual fundraiser here. This year’s Bingo will include a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to marry your sweetie in front of 700 or so people at the February 15th event. For a chance to have your special day be part of Lifelong’s special night, submit your 500-word-or-less essay here. “Judging will be based on the romantic appeal of the story of your courtship and the strength of your partnership” — you got this one in the bag.
