Thursday’s Blitz Capitol Hill Arts Walk falls late this month with a roster of shows and events to bring you out this autumn evening. Highlights of the art walk include works by this week’s hillebrity Brittany Kusa at Cupcake Royale, the annual Holiday Miniature Art Extravaganza at Ghost Gallery, Lorraine Toler’s series on crows (yes!) at Poco wine + spirits, Steven Miller’s provocative photographs at Vermillion, and new works by Sue Danielson at Blindfold Gallery. The annual Russian Bazaar enlivens the seemingly sleepy Russian Community Center on 19th Ave on Saturday and Sunday, 12 – 5p. The bazaar features food, music, arts, crafts, and more. “We offer Borscht and Pelmeny dinners, Piroshki, Desserts, Kvas & other beverages. Gifts, Souvenirs and Holiday Items will be available for sale.” Ugosh’ajtyes’!

Playing a Richard Hugo House through Nov 23rd is a musical based on the tragic death of celebrity spelunker Floyd Collins in 1925. “While trying to discover a new entrance to the system of underground caves in Kentucky, Collins became trapped in a narrow crawlway 55 feet below the surface. The reports about efforts to save Collins became a nationwide newspaper sensation and among the first major news stories to become a major sensation on the new technology of home radio.”
