This coming weekend, a one-of-a-kind arts event that turns everybody into an artist returns to Capitol Hill. The 2013 Gage Academy Drawing Jam is Saturday, December 7th:

Mark your calendars for the 2013 Drawing Jam, happening on Saturday, December 7, 2013, from 9AM to 9PM. Make plans now to bring the whole family to the annual community celebration of music, art and creativity at the Gage building on Capitol Hill, 1501 10th AVE E, next to St. Mark’s Cathedral.

Spend an hour – or the entire day – but don’t miss one of the most unique art events in the Northwest. Live models, live music (Click HERE to view the 2013 Musician/Performer schedule), open studios and art activities for the whole family – plus, a great assortment of some of Seattle’s finest food trucks!

Tickets are $10 at the door — kids are free. CHS advertiser Gage has also provided four sets of tickets for us to give away. All you need to do is submit a carefully rendered Capitol Hill-themed sketch to the CHS Facebook page by 8 PM Monday night. We’ll select four random winners from the sketches — and hopefully share your excellent MS Paint creation on the site so keep it mostly safe for work. UPDATE: My lame attempt at a contest BOMBED. If you want two free tickets, leave a message here by noon Tuesday.

Thanks also to Office Nomads for helping us out as Drawing Jam prize pick-up location.
