16th Ave’s Jewish Family Service has been active in the city for more than 100 years. CHS stopped by Sunday for a Menorahs and Mitzvahs gathering to sing songs, enjoy a few snacks and light the fifth candle of Chanukah.
In 2012, we wrote about JFS’s new 16th Ave building and longtime mission to support the community with addiction counseling, refugee assistance, and food bank services.
You can learn more about volunteering or donating at jfsseattle.org or help with the food drive supporting JFS at Black Coffee.
