Jimi vandalism: The Jimi Hendrix statue near Broadway and Pine was defaced again Thursday night when somebody dumped gobs of green paint on the popular landmark. We’ll check in with Hunters Capital who owns the Broadway Building and the statue about any issues with clean-up. In September, two men were arrested following a drunken spree that left the statue covered in blue spray paint. He cleaned up just fine following that incident. KIRO reports that this time around, SPD made arrests of two men downtown following Thursday’s vandalism. Sorry for the confusion — that KIRO report is old! UPDATE: Hunters reports that Jimi is already green-free.
