One to hospital after 10th/Pike knife fight

A knife fight involving four to five males broke out near 10th and Pike amid the usual throngs of nighttime revelers. Police arrived quickly as the suspects fled. One male was sent to the hospital, another treated at the scene — both with minor knife wounds to the arms.

On a night busy enough with activity along E Pike that officers were having a difficult time remembering what case number each incident had been assigned by dispatch, the fight was first reported just after 1:30 AM. Police arrived to find two male victims bleeding from wounds to the arms.

Police searched for the male reported to have stabbed the others in the fight. He was described as a black male around 5’8″, with a shaved head and wearing a shiny blue puffy jacket, black pants and an orange beanie. He reportedly fled toward Cal Anderson Park. The SPD search of the area was not immediately successful. No arrests were made.

This is further proof that Pike-Pine is the cesspool of Capitol Hill. Sorry, but it’s the truth.
