Blotter | Police investigate overnight Capitol Hill street robberies

  • 10th/Pike assault and robbery: Police found a large crowd gathered around a male victim down on the pavement in the core of the nightlife district at 10th and Pike early Saturday morning in an incident being investigated as a street robbery and assault. A 25-year-old male victim was transported to the hospital with a head injury in the incident reported to police around 1:49 AM. There are no further details about the robbery and the victim’s condition at this time. We’ll update when we learn more.
  • E Olive St mugging: A male victim had his backpack stolen by a duo of muggers in a incident just before midnight Friday at E Olive St and Summit. Police were called to the area but no suspects were immediately found. The victim was not injured in the robbery.
