- Ferret assault: A Capitol Hill area resident who caused a stir by walking the streets armed with both a ferret and pepper spray was arrested Saturday night for a serious, felony offense. According to the SPD report on the incident and police radio dispatches, police were called to 12th Ave’s Tavern Law just before 8 PM to a call that the ferret man was making threats:
It turns out, the suspect has packed the Mustela putorius furo and oleoresin capsicum before:Following the Saturday night disturbance on 12th Ave, police eventually caught up with the suspect near Broadway and Pike. When contacted by an officer, the man pointed his pepper spray but was quickly disarmed, according to the SPD report. The suspect was arrested for felony assault of an officer and also could face harassment charges.
I’m surprised the cops didn’t just shoot and kill him. That’s what they usually do.
I love our cops. They deal with pepper-spraying ferret owners while I enjoy pork belly and a corpse reviver 2.
Nice marmot.
