“Visit Seattle’s top 25 urban farms!” — Seattle Tilth‘s annual tour of the city’s most amazing 4-H-styled dwellings is next weekend:
Visit Seattle’s top 25 urban farms! Seattle Tilth’s Chicken Coop & Urban Farm Tour is on Saturday, July 12. Meet people who are incorporating animals and unique gardens into their home landscapes on a self-guided tour. See a unique coops, see goats, ducks, bunnies and bees, and learn what it takes to have a dynamic urban farm. Go on an urban adventure! Tickets are just $12 and $5 for kids, with discounts for groups, bicyclists and Seattle Tilth members.
We’re told the tour includes “four great sites in our ‘Central’ area, from First Hill to Madrona.”
A tour of chicken prisons? Creepy.

i don’t know if the farm in columbia city is included, but it’s super impressive, check out the veggies and bees. no goats though :( you can take the 8 bus or light rail to cc.
