The former E Olive Way home of the Bus Stop will not become “sk8” bar St. Noah.
We think.
But who can say anymore.
CHS has been fielding questions about what is happening in the space in recent weeks after the convincing-enough tagging went up on the former bar’s window. A check of permits and license applications doesn’t show anything in motion at the site, if you’re still wondering.
The Bus Stop shuttered in spring 2013 and the space has sat empty since.
I saw the guy painting it, I think he sometimes sleeps in the doorway, as all of his paints and personal possessions were there.
Can you do a report on men’s room graffiti at Seattle Central? I think someone wrote that Seattle Central is turning into Harvard. Definitely important to cover.
That building is getting trashed. There is so much potential there. I hope it’s not a sign of what’s to come.
Yep,luxury apts here we come. That whole block will be demolished. SAY Goodbye to In The Bowl. It will happen. You may disagree but trust me. Prime land.
Probably true. Or some type of revamp while keeping some outside structure. But I’m not going to mourn the passing of In the Bowl. The absolute rudest service and saltiest, oversauced, overcooked, flavorless food ever. They were awesome when they opened and now they don’t give a damn. In the Bowl: Killing Tastebuds and Dreams.
The Tattoo place used to be open all the time, but now it’s “by appointment only”. Usually seems the lights are out anytime I pass by. Perhaps “yep” is correct. As for “In the bowl”, that place seems nasty even just walking by. I’d never eat in there.
In the Bowl is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. The staff are kind and I’ve never had bad service there.
I’m still scratching my head wondering what’s “convincing” about that tagging? I’d guess exactly the opposite, wouldn’t waste 15 seconds believing it.
