Search for missing Capitol Hill man Krishna Venkatesh winds down

1016497_1578752049019207_8490048863083508644_nWith the search for a missing Capitol Hill man providing few new answers in the weeks since his car was found near Deception Pass, friends and loved ones of Krishna Venkatesh have turned their attention to remembering the 27-year-old:

Thank you for your patience! We are grateful to have you all be such a huge moral and emotional support for us in this time of stress. After thorough investigations, authorities have no further update for us. Given the time that has passed, we will all need to unfortunately come to terms with the possibility that Krishna may not be coming back. Our thoughts and prayers are with Krishna and his family. To remember the great friend, son and amazing person such as Krishna – we request you to post funny stories, anecdotes, pictures, quotes and videos at http://wearekrishna.com/. We are going to be closing this group/facebook page very soon and request you all to visit the website and help keep memories of Krishna fresh and alive.

One post in remembrance highlights Venkatesh’s love of groan-worthy puns:

Krishna and I loved sharing bad puns with one another. In fact, he’s the one who got me hooked years and years ago! The first pun he told me, which I still use to elicit groans today, is the following:

Why did Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head prohibit their daughter from marrying Tom Brokaw?

-Because he is a common tator

The 1600 block Belmont Ave resident went missing in mid-October. Authorities believe the Microsoft program manager drove from work to Deception Pass State Park the night of October 15th. A search of the area has not turned up any additional evidence. A Seattle Police spokesperson tells CHS the missing person case remains open.
