Tell us about your business: Dr. Jen’s House of Beauty is THE purveyor of healthy, non-toxic skincare and cosmetics, as well as formulator of bespoke skincare options and custom color matched cosmetics.
What is the best thing about having a business on Capitol Hill? The people! We love being in the heart of the performers’ and creative artists’ neighborhood, as well as being able to introduce our philosophy and product to those who simply love being near all the creativity.
Why is it important for people to shop local, especially around the holidays? Smart money supports your own neighborhood first. Spending money at large, corporate entities only helps finance the destruction of independent, creative businesses. Capitol Hill is lucky to have a TON of wonderful, innovative and independent businesses – support them all!
