What year did you open on Capitol Hill: 2014

Tell us about your business: Sal has been a floral designer for more than a decade. Sal launched his career in floral design in Mexico. He moved to Los Angeles and with hard work and dedication, Sal quickly became a recognized designer and worked for many prestigious companies.
Now settled in Seattle, his personal affection and fresh approach to floral design is unlike any other florists in the Pacific Northwest. Sal has always had a passion for art, design and color all of which he incorporates into each arrangement. This allows him to bring a clients vision into full bloom. Birthdays, Weddings, Anniversaries, Weekly Corporate Flowers, Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Sympathy and terrariums and designer orchids plus much more are available at Sal Floral Design

What is the best thing about having a business on Capitol Hill? It really is a community here. Even though Seattle is a big city, Capitol Hill is a neighborhood with amazing people.

Why is it important for people to shop local, especially around the holidays? Where we shop, where we eat and have fun — all of it makes our community home. Our one-of-a-kind businesses are an integral part of the distinctive character of this place. Our tourism businesses also benefit.
