  • output_qitzkb (1)Cupcake tip theft: The theft of the E Pike Cupcake Royale tip jar Wednesday night was caught on video:
This gentleman snatched the tip jar from the Cupcake Royale shop at 1111 E Pike last night a bit after 10pm. It was in our last hour of business, so he made off with a very large portion of the day’s cash tips. When he first came in there was a bit of a crowd, and asked for a glass of water, and made a swipe at the jar while the cashier was away but backed out at the last second. When that did not succeed, he hung around for a few minutes before graciously returning the water cup and swiftly swiping the jar on his way out the door.08
