Abu is a 12-and-a-half-week-old English Cream Golden Retriever. Karen, his human, is a first time dog owner. He is one of 14 in his litter and originally from Michigan. Abu is new to Seattle, having only been here for a month so be sure to stop for a pet and welcome him to the neighborhood. We found Abu and Karen enjoying the sun and a coffee on the patio of Metier.

We ask photographer Alex Garland to follow marchers in the rain and do crazy things like trying to make yet another picture of yet another huge apartment building look interesting.
