On the List | Hugo House’s last party, taco trucks in Volunteer Park, Streissguth celebration, I-5 lid charrette

A busy weekend around Capitol Hill includes a goodbye to an old friend, the best possible reward for running five kilometers, a happy anniversary for a very special garden, and a chance to help design an amazing new connection between Capitol Hill and downtown.

Saturday night, join the friends of Hugo House to say goodbye to the old 11th Ave building before its torn down to make way for a new literary center-focused development:

It’s the end of one story and the beginning of another. Come to ☆☆THE LAST PARTY☆☆ at the current Hugo House to celebrate your time here and look toward the future. We have plenty in store for you.

Earlier that day, you can choose which endurance event you’d prefer. First, the Lid I-5 Community Charrette will be five hours of urbanism rendered in real time as proponents gather to design a new lid across the freeway. Your second option is to run a 5K — or not — and then join the Taco Truck Challenge in Volunteer Park. Be ready for traffic diversions in the area during the running race Saturday morning.

Friday, celebrate 20 years of public ownership for Capitol Hill’s secret garden — the Streissguth Gardens mark their 1996 gifting to the City of Seattle:

From 1-4pm we’ll be celebrating with punch and cookies, a look back in time through the garden, some historical documents about the garden, new brochures, and a new sign. The private garden will be open for self tours. At around 2pm we’ll gather for some informal words.

With these notions in your head, you’re apt to put pressure on yourself and then put that pressure on him.
Men always want what they can’t have so the more you make him wait the more he’ll want you.
Not all girls are the same, and if you treat them all the same, then you can end up not showing her that
you love her.
