On the List | Capitol Hill Art Walk Queer Edition, Volunteer Park Pride Festival, Hopscotch CD

The Hill’s monthly art walk will be extra special for its June exposition of neighborhood creativity and culture. PrideFest is throwing its weight behind Thursday night’s event with a special Queer Edition Capitol Hill Art Walk:

Year 2 of our Queer Art Walk, this time working in partnership with Capitol Hill Art Walk. Featured are queer-owned venues, queer artists, or queer themed shows. So much good stuff!

Yay for partnership! And Capitol Hill art. The map above shows the official PrideFest “queer-related” Capitol Hill venues participating in Thursday’s walk. There are, of course, plenty more where those came from. As usual, you can see the full map and roster at capitolhillartwalk.com. CHS is a proud community sponsor!

Pride on Capitol Hill really gets rolling Saturday with the Volunteer Park Pride Festival with music and food trucks. Hell’s Belles headlines. You can check out our entire roster of June’s LGBTQ celebrations and rallies on the CHS Pride page.

In the Central District, another fun annual event returns Saturday as Hopscotch CD and its miles of hopscotch sidewalks is ready to chalk up the neighborhood.
