The time has come for the Real World cast and crew to pack up and bid farewell to Capitol Hill. Filming has wrapped for the 32nd season of the reality TV show that will feature a group of strangers living and partying on Capitol Hill, according to fan sites tracking the production.
18 years after the first season in Seattle, Real World producers staked out a new set in the 12th Ave Ballou Wright building between Pike and Pine. The office space-turned-Real World house was previously occupied by digital design firm Creature, which filed for bankruptcy shortly after leaving the space in May.MTV representatives have not returned calls on the status of the production. A representative for building owner Hunters Capital told CHS the space will likely be put back into use as an office. The show’s production company leased the space through September.

There have been some strange episodes during the two months of shooting, like when a Real World producer intervened in a bar altercation in order to keep a belligerent man from getting kicked out. Mostly the show was received as a fleeting oddity on the streets of Capitol Hill.
Earlier this summer, CHS reported on the agreement Real World creators were requiring local businesses sign to be part of the production. Some agreed, many did not.
According to fan sites, season 32 features double the roommates as “a broken’ friendship, relationship, etc.” joins each of the original seven cast members in the house. Show producers said there would be some “dramatic surprises” in the season expected to air later this year.

Why talk about the insolvency of Creature. Why does that matter? Huh? Huh???
Because they left a space on Capitol Hill empty. This blog covers Capitol Hill. It isn’t rocket science.

it matters as to why the space was vacant in the first place. what do you care if it gets reported anyway? were you one of the owners? businesses on the hill fail all the time and most of the well known (and even those less well known) get covered in this blog. it’s part of the neighborhood make-up.
