Capitol Hill Pets | Edison the photogenic Wonderdog above 20th Ave E

img_7423
Edison (aka Edison the Wonderdog) and Jonathan, two rustic yet graceful companions for life, spend their time running, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors together as often as possible. When not enjoying the trees and mountains, Edison can be found hanging out the window of his 20th Ave E apartment. Edison is a 5 and a 1/2-year-old “Golden Husky” — part Golden Retriever, part Siberian Husky, and “part Luck Dragon.” Edison can be a bit aloof, but he always knows when the camera is ready. For proof of Edison’s natural photogenicity, take a drive down Aurora or up 4th Ave in SoDo and look for the Group Health billboard featuring Edison and Jonathan enjoying the great outdoors.

We ask photographer Alex Garland to follow marchers in the rain and do crazy things like trying to make yet another picture of yet another huge apartment building look interesting. We thought we’d ask him to do something a little more fun. Capitol Hill Pets is a semi-regular look at our furry, fuzzy, feathered, and finned friends found out and about on Capitol Hill.
