• Stolen car, stolen gun: A suspect was arrested after East Precinct officers located him in possession of a stolen handgun while sitting in a stolen car on Capitol Hill early last Sunday morning:
  On March 24th, at approximately 2:30 am, officers observed a 2018 Volvo with out of state plates parked in the 900 block of East Pine Street occupied by two people. A check of the license plate showed that the vehicle had been reported stolen in Seattle approximately a week earlier. Officers called for additional officers to respond to the scene and conducted a high-risk stop on the vehicle. As officers were taking the occupants out of the car, they observed the male in the driver’s seat drop something in the back passenger seat. After the two occupants were out of the car and in custody, officers located a loaded Glock handgun on the floorboard of the rear passenger seat. A check of the serial number showed that the handgun had been reported stolen in Seattle in 2014. Both suspects were arrested and transported to the East Precinct. At the precinct, it was determined that one of the men, age 38, was a convicted felon and on active federal probation. He was the individual who was seen dropping the gun in the backseat. The suspect was later booked into the King County Jail for investigation of possession of stolen vehicle and investigation of possession of stolen firearm. The other male, age 29, was identified and released from the precinct.
  The stolen vehicle was impounded and the stolen Glock was submitted into evidence, police report.
• E Madison property damage: A man angered he had been kicked out of the overnight homeless shelter at Madison Valley’s Bailey-Boushay has been charged in an incident that left multiple people assaulted and thousands of dollars worth of damage to the facility. William McMillian has been charged with Malicious Mischief In The First Degree, Assault In The Fourth Degree, and Assault In The Fourth Degree and an official at Bailey-Boushay said he did between $10,000 and $20,000 in damage after being made to leave the facility in an incident on March 20th just before midnight. In addition to punching staff, McMillian allegedly used a boulder-sized rock to begin busting out all of the facility’s street-facing windows:
  Police say he also used a computer to smash more windows and smashed a water cooler, flooding the lobby. According to prosecutors and police, McMillian had been asked to leave the shelter because he had been using derogatory terms and making sexual advances toward another client. When staff tried to hand his shoes to him after he had been kicked out, police say McMillian forced his way back into the building and began the mayhem. He is currently held on $10,000 bail.
• Coffee shop burglary: The burglar in a March 13th break-in at a Broadway coffee shop apparently left behind a bible but made off with the cafe’s cash. According to the SPD report on the incident, an employee opening up for the day noticed a leather bound bible on the counter and the cash register open and missing its one and five dollar bills. It was not clear how the thief had gained entry. Police seized the bible and some papers also left behind as evidence.
• Crisis arrest: A man suffering a crisis was arrested and booked for harassment after police responded to reports of a male swinging a box cutter inside a Minor Ave building. Police were called to the March 25th incident just after 11 PM and found the suspect upset and talking about people he believed were trying to kill him:
  Police were able to take the man into custody without further incident.
• Knife arrest: A man was arrested and booked for assault after allegedly threatening security at an E Pike drinking establishment when he was asked to leave in a late night Sunday, March 2nd incident:Police say the suspect may also face a drug charge after a small amount of suspected cocaine was found during a search as he was booked into jail.
