Police ask for help locating suspect in Capitol Hill domestic violence assault

Police are asking for help tracking down the suspect in a domestic violence assault that happened in a Capitol Hill apartment last month.

During the incident on February 28th, Edward Gentry, 34, attacked his ex-girlfriend at an apartment, striking her repeatedly before strangling her until she was unconscious. Gentry attacked the woman in front of her three-year-old child.

Prosecutors have charged Gentry with two counts of domestic violence including assault and unlawful imprisonment and he is wanted on a $250,000 warrant.
