As unexpected as the shutting down of the economy and all that has followed has been, the most shocking to me is the lack of PPE’S in storage across the country in preparation for any emergency situation. In mid -February a friend who is a surgeon stated that all PPE’s were already back ordered. How is it possible that hospitals do not have their own storage from which to pull from?
How is it possible that Drs and nurses are being told to reuse and make what they have last instead of one patient but rather a weeks shift and they are expected to work without any protection within days?
Governors are competing with each other but apparently also with FEMA? WTF IS THERE REALLY NO PLAN IN PLACE? THEN OF COURSE WE HAVE TRUMP WHO SHOULD BE HELD RESPONSIBLE for the damages and lives lost from his lies and unbased statements and requiring Governors to be nice to him if they want help.
25th Amendment now. America deserves better. At least, please get the petulant child out of the way so grownups can work with the problem before more people die.
