Capitol Hill Community Post | The Broadcast “Somewhere” Release Party: Music to make you feel good and make the world brighter

If you’re hopeful about the world because you’re young and you know you can change things, you need this music in your life.

If you’re bogged down emotionally because the world continues to go to shit and you feel hopeless, you need this music in your life.

The Brodcast is about interstellar beats and grooves, finding light and love in the world, and connecting people who are making a positive impact with music.

WHAT IS HAPPENING
Friday June 2 at Love City Love; it’s 3 musical acts with dance performance sprinkled in. Art on the walls will be inspired by travel and there will be painters creating works live at the event.

WHO THEY ARE
Brodie writes raps to groovy, cosmic beats. Holly brings vocal jazz experience. Altogether they are 4 piece band with Collin on drums and Marshall on bass, and shows are a hybrid of live instrumentation, electronic production, spoken word raps and good vibrations.

WHAT THEY’RE DOING
Their current project, “Somewhere” (out this month) is a cosmic hip-hop journey that follows the inner experience of an actual road trip around the U. S. They use this travel metaphor to invite audiences on musical journey.

Check out their videos and keep posted for the release of Somewhere later this month, on SoundCloud and Spotify.
