November 16th, a caravan of comedians is heading north from Portland. Headliner Ian Karmel (Portlandia) leads this hilarious, motley group of Bridgetown jokers including: Shane Torres, Anthony Lopez, Tynan DeLong, and Jen Allen. Blood Squad has been performing their intricate, improvised homages to slasher movies in the Northwest since 2005. Mainstays Brandon Felker and Elicia Wickstead remain crypt-keepers of the Blood Squad name, but by 2010 the group had lost enough of their talented members to L.A. or parenthood that it was time to hang up the butcher knives and hockey masks.
Now, by popular demand and with the help of some of Seattle’s most talented and gruesome-minded improvisers, Blood Squad returns to present “Camp Death”, an improvised summer-camp-slasher. Fans of Sleepaway Camp and Friday the 13th will be wary of missing this evening at…Camp Death!
