McMenamins has revitalized the Anderson School, Bothell’s first junior high dating back to 1931. Riz Reyes, McMenamins horticulturalist, will be your guide through the gardens on the 5.4 acre property. The gardens showcase several planting schemes aimed to display diversity and a plant collector’s palette. Come see the architectural desert garden, bold and lush plantings outside and inside of the Northshore Lagoon, stroll through the wildflower meadow and check out what they’re harvesting in the extensive kitchen garden. Interested tour participants are also invited to stay for a short brewery tour and tasting, immediately following the garden tour.
