A solo musical dramedy by Sara Carbone
Pieces of Her is about the often magical, sometimes maddening world of professional child and adult acting. In the play Sara sings, speaks, and dances her way through over a dozen characters and multiple musical styles, almost entirely without instruments. The show follows her attempts to climb out from under the weight of a strong-willed father, unfriendly classmates, and two unruly manifestations of her psyche battling things out in her head. Watch as she struggles to find her own voice as a performer and writer and bring together all those disorderly Pieces of Her.
