On Behalf of the Capitol Hill Chamber of Commerce and its partners (see below), we would like to invite you to our first ever Capitol Hill MONSTER Street Sweep this Saturday! For those less familiar with the Street Sweep, the “Street Sweep” is an event in which we invite local businesses and the Capitol Hill Community to, take part in a cleaning effort for a section of Capitol Hill followed by a free lunch and dessert! This is a great time to get out, make change and meet the community. (LOOK FOR POSTERS) This year, the “Monster” Street Sweep we will be focusing on cleaning just north of Seattle University’s campus between Broadway and 12th and Pine to Madison. Schedule: We will begin by meeting at Seattle University’s Pigott Auditorium at 10:00AM for complimentary BECU breakfast snacks and candy. We will sign in and form cleaning groups splitting up the cleaning zone. (ALL tools, gloves, and trash bags will be provided by the Chamber) Following a quick briefing, we will go off with our groups and Street Captains to gather our tools, and clean for about an hour to an hour and a half. When finished cleaning, we will return to Pigott Auditorium for a FREE Lunch from Bon Appétit and Dessert from BLUEBIRD! |
