Southern food still draws a line nearly every dinnertime. Have a mint julep for me.

Pan-latin small bites restaurant on 14th Avenue between Pike and Pine. Heavy Spanish influence with some South American (particularly Venezuelan influences). Has a casual but upscale atmosphere - entrees top off at $15. A/c & sidewalk seating too.

Great coffee, they make their own delicious pastries, nice place to sit, good sandwiches. A truly independent coffee shop.

4 out of 5 blocks of North Broadway now have a pho restaurant (North of E Olive). So in case the other 3 don't hit the spot, you can try Pho Lotus Chinese & Vietnamese Restaurant.

Pistil Books & News started as an independent neighborhood retail used and new bookstore in 1993 in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood (where Bimbo's is now). We also carried zines and hosted readings and art shows.
In April of 2001, because of rising overhead costs and the changing nature of the book business, we closed our retail store in order to concentrate on internet sales. We carry books in all fields, with an emphasis on scholarly titles, literary fiction, poetry, erotica, art, history, politics, and science. Quick service. Foreign orders. 24 hour response. Accurate descriptions. Excellent packaging. Drop Ships. New titles added daily. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. www.pistilbooks.net ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (0 reviews)
