• No plans for a brick and mortar location yet. Sunday market will have to do for now. I told them there will be revolt if they open a store anywhere but 15th Ave.
• Victrola is rumored to be getting a freezer -- but Half Pint wouldn't say if they were in line to be the ice cream provider.
• Toasted coconut ice cream is delicious.

bummer, i'd heard a rumor at one point that molly moon's was looking for a location on capitol hill, but i guess we lost out to wallingford. maybe their 2nd location can be on the hill.

I'd expected the ice cream to be great, but the sauces took me off guard. Owner Molly Neitzel has teamed up with Veil pastry chef Dana Cree, so instead of run-of-the-mill scoop wetters, you get toppings worth eating alone, like bu-bu-buttery vanilla bean butterscotch and a sweet (seasonal!) orange-rhubarb compote that screams to slide down a mountain of the strawberry-balsamic ice cream. (Put that stuff in a jar!)

• The expansion of Seattle's streetcar system moves forward with a Capitol Hill route in the early plans. Despites Seattle Times' sour headline (Some getting serious about adding streetcars) and the conventional wisdom that streetcars are inefficient, some are excited. Some already feel left out.
