I have a hard-hitting question: Why does the paper say 25 cents but it’s in the free newspaper pile at places like the doorway of The Alley on Broadway?

You should probably wait and build up to that question or else he’ll walk out.

Ask him to compare and contrast (sounds like a high school question) his experiences at the Capitol Hill Times with those at the other paper he edits (Kirkland?). Ask him where he’d rather live.
