Another Capitol Hill restaurant opening: Take a seat at the Tin Table

Looks like another new restaurant grand opening on Capitol Hill this weekend — The Tin Table makes its big entrance this Saturday, 2/28. The venture is backed by Century Ballroom owner Hallie Kuperman and located on the 2nd floor of the Oddfellows building not far from the dancefloor. Check out the TT’s menus or scroll through a few screen-grabbed highlights uploaded on this post. Last image is the dessert page, of course.

Could you please add just one or two vegetarian entrees to your menus? We veggies would love to check you out, too!

And even us non-veggies are getting a little tired of pulled pork, burgers, and steak frites. I mean, how many times am I really going to want those??

Okay, lots of times . . . but not an infinite number–I’d love to have a vegetarian option in there!

there’s a whole section dedicated to “veggies”:

1) the Tin Table Salad
House Greens tossed in a Lemon Vinaigrette
2) Arugulala Salad
With Roasted Golden Beets & Reggiano in a Sherry Vinaigrette
3) Roasted Yukon Potatoes
With a Spicy Spanish Tomato Sauce
4) Green Beans
With Tamarind Chutney & Garlic
5) Local Farro Pilaf
With Cauliflower & Pistachios
6) Roasted Baby Carrots
With Crumbled Goat Cheese
7) Grilled Stuffed Eggplant Rolls
Filled with Lemon-Thyme Ricotta on Tomato Basil Sauce
8) Orecchiette Pasta with Arugula
Ear-Shaped Pasta in a Brown Butter Sauce

at least 3 of those items can be considered entrees. and the prices for most of them are around $7, so a person could get 2 or 3 to make a meal out of. so i don’t quite see what you have to whine about.
