Rainbow City Marching Band Meet & Greet
When:     Tuesday, March 31, 2009 06:00 PM – 09:00 PM
Where:     Broadway Bar & Grill
What:     As it prepares for its twelfth season of marching through the streets of Seattle and other cities in Washington, Rainbow City Band continues to grow in size and sound.

Has it been awhile since you dusted off that instrument? Are you looking for a chance to keep playing through the summer? Do you just like to get out and bring smiles to thousands of people lining the streets? Then come find out about the band and join us this summer!

Our annual pre-season information session for marching takes place on March 31 this year. Stop by the Broadway Grill anytime between 6 and 9 to meet members of the band – including our color guard – and ask any questions you might have. Or just have a drink and bite to eat and chat awhile.

Blitz, Cap Hill Arts Walk Planning

Where:     Vermillion
What:     Blitz, the Capitol Hill Arts Walk, is quickly taking shape! Important meeting Tuesday, March 31, 7pm at Vermillion (on 11th between Pike & Pine) — please come if you’re interested in volunteering, or if you’re just curious to hear more. Hope to see you there!

Seen at a City Neighborhood Council meeting last night: somebody carrying a copy of
