- Homegrown planning to have sidewalk seating at Melrose Market and, as expected, has applied for a beer & wine license
- Bluebird Ice Cream & Tea (which also serves espresso) has applied for a beer & wine license – note to music lovers: Elephant Micah is playing for FREE at Bluebird tonight (3/15) at 7 pm
- Vios has applied to begin serving spirits and to sell wine
- If you’re a Nick Castleberry fan (he had set up a “pop-up kitchen” at the summit a few months ago), you can now find him at Volunteer Park Cafe
- CHS Sponsor Cupcake Royale now offers pastries from Le Fournil & Macrina (thru 3/19 they are offering these pastries at 1/2 price when you buy a coffee)
- Stumptown will start selling Hiroki (Japanese/Euro fusion) baked goods tomorrow (3/16/10)
- Try the Hill’s original “speakeasy”: Rosebud offering Prohibition era cocktails every Tuesday night
- CHS Sponsor Coastal Kitchen has been offering a great deal the past few months: 50% off the entire food menu between 5 to 6:30 on a select weekday – this week, the special will be offered Tuesday (3/16/20) + they are now offering $3 martinis to pair with the early bird
Such a cute place – will be a perfect hang out once they start serving beer.
Now only if they were a little better at cleaning… ^^

Porchlight coffee has applied for a liquor license as well!!
Excited for this place, but spending a minimum of $10 for food here seems a bit pricey. Call me a cheapo, but but this depression is still on no matter what NPR sez people. It better be darn good/sustainable to be a $10+ dumpling joint.
