SIFF volunteers gather at Egyptian this weekend

Want to be part of the Seattle International Film Festival and earn some free movie vouchers? This Saturday is the SIFF Volunteer Meeting at our very own Egyptian Theater. With the experience you gain in the theatre, you can also help groups like Northwest Film Forum and Three Dollar Bill Cinema. You’ll help a worthy org, you’ll feel good about yourself and you might never pay for another movie again.

The SIFF Volunteer Meeting serves as an orientation to the Festival and an introduction to all of the departments. Although the majority of our volunteers work as Ushers, there are many other opportunities you might find interesting as well. All of our Festival Coordinators will be at the meeting to introduce their departments and discuss their various needs. It’s a great time to meet the SIFF staff and mingle with fellow volunteers. Volunteering during the Festival gives you an exciting glimpse of what it takes to pull off a three week long festival that last year boasted 392 films from 62 countries with 372 guests and 142,420 attendees. This is a remarkable feat that could not be accomplished without our dedicated team of volunteers.
