Earlier this week, we told you long-time CHS advertiser Tidbit Bistro was moving from their location near Roanoke Park to a new home on Capitol Hill. Today, the restaurant announced it is moving onto Broadway and filling in the space left empty when sushi purveyor Vi Bacchus closed in February. You might recall that the E. Union at Broadway corner space was previously inhabited by a much smaller — and old timers, of course, say better — version of Osteria La Spiga, now making its home over on 12th Ave. Still no word on what will fill the 15th Ave E space vacated when Tilden closed shop. We know it’s a restaurant but that’s about it. Perhaps when the magical brown butcher paper comes down from the windows, we’ll know more.

I was disappointed whent the rumor that Tidbit was going to 15th didn’t pan out, but the old Vi Bacchus is probably a better location. I’ve been wanting to try Tidbit out for awhile now, but my travels never took me down that way.
Any idea when the move is happening?
Best of luck to the Tidbit folks with that space. It’s a weird location in which few places have ever had much success.
Is there any news on who may be taking over Tidbit’s spot on 10th Ave E?
