Hill Tunes: Joy Wants Eternity, The Cave Singers, Ravenna Woods, The Kindness Kind

– Thursday, 5/13, 8:30PM @ Chop Suey: Joy Wants Eternity, Empty Space Orchestra, Hypatia Lake.  An evening of nationally-acclaimed instrumental post rock from local band Joy Wants Eternity. $8, 21+

– Friday, 5/14, 8PM @ Neumos: Kaki King, An Horse.   New York artist Kaki King brings her impressive and intricate guitar skills to Seattle.  $15 adv, 21+

– Friday, 5/14, 9PM @ Chop Suey: The Kindness Kind, People Eating People, Hoseannas.  Local indie bands The Kindness Kind and People Eating People (with full band) will play, in addition to Portland’s Hoseannas. 9PM, 21+

– Saturday, 5/15, 8PM @ Healthy Times Fun Club: PWRFL Power, The Globes, Kids and Animals, Skeletons with Flesh on Them.  Enjoy a night of experimental indie pop rock!  Doors at 8PM, $5 suggested donation, all ages.  E-mail [email protected] or text (206) 661-2217 for the address :)

– Saturday, 5/15 9PM @ Neumos: Shout Out Louds, Freelance Whales. Swedish indie rock band Shout Out Louds have been getting tons of national press; don’t miss their highly anticipated stop in Seattle! $12 adv, 21+

– Saturday, 5/15 9PM @ The Black Lodge (Eastlake): The Cave Singers, Ravenna Woods, The Babies.  Local favorites The Cave Singers will be playing their first Seattle show in a while, along with rising, must-see talent Ravenna Woods.

– Sunday, 5/16 5:30PM @ Sonic Booms Records (Capitol Hill): Frightened Rabbit.  Come see this popular indie rock band from Scotland, first performing a free in-store session at 5:30 at Sonic Boom, and the full show later on the same evening at Neumos (not free, sorry!)

– Monday, 5/17, 8PM @ Chop Suey:  Cornish Graduation 2010 with Irukandji, Fictitious, DJ Bookem.  It’s a celebration!  $5, all-ages, bar w/ID

– Tuesday, 5/18, 8PM @ 611 Supreme (611 E. Pine Street): Free jazz nights
