SWAT officers shut down the area around a Melrose Ave apartment building Wednesday morning in their search for a burglary suspect who is believed to have been inside the building. Officers began establishing a perimeter around the building around 9 this morning. SWAT forces entered the building but it is not yet clear if the suspect has been contacted. The discovery of a moving truck associated with the suspect helped pinpoint his location.

As of 11am cops were still roaming and patrolling the area between Bellevue Ave and Melrose. Hope they capture the suspect, after a busy, crimewise speaking, July I’m getting tired of these people disturbing the peace of the Hill… this is a cool neighborhood, there is no space for this kind of people…
