Eric Volz Event Tonight @ 6:30 PM!

Where:
Temple De Hirsch Sinai

1511 East Pike Street
Seattle, WA

When: 6:30 PM Registration, 7 PM Lecture

Join the World Affairs Council’s Young Professionals International Network and Seattle University’s Department of Theology and Ministry as we explore the story of Eric Volz, a man who was wrongfully accused, tried, and convicted of the murder of his ex-girlfriend, and how faith, family and the grassroots efforts around the world eventually helped to overturn his conviction and end his captivity in Nicaragua. Eric’s case hit headlines and his book, Gringo Nightmare, documents his experience. Eric has set out to raise awareness about the significance of the rule of law and to create a dialogue about how cross-cultural differences and international political tensions can impair the ability of national and international legal institutions to deliver true justice.

Gringo Nightmare will be available for purchase before and after the event by Elliott Bay Book Co. Book signing following the event.
