Russian Bazaar on Capitol Hill, 50 years of Greek in Montlake

Two cultural celebrations to add to the weekend fun as on-Hill and near-Hill community groups celebrate their heritage with food, dancing and fun.


On 19th Ave East, the Russian Cultural Center is hosting its annual bazaar:

2010 Annual Russian Bazaar.

Please join us for our traditional Annual Russian Bazaar!

Saturday & Sunday, September 25-26, 2010 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Russian Center, 704-19th Avenue East, Seattle, WA 98112.

Come join us for pelmeny (Siberian dumplings in broth), borscht, and piroshki, beef or cabbage. Everything is handmade from traditional Russian recipes. Desserts include Vatrushka (Russian cheesecake), Napoleons, Meringues, Fruit Tarts among many other selections. Coffee and tea.

Entertainment will include traditional Russian dancing, singing and music. Arts and crafts will be for sale.
