Christmas, Dunshee House and the Grinch

You’ll recall that Dunshee House, the home of Seattle AIDS Support Group, where many of us get our Christmas trees, was burglarized recently and lost their computers and records.

We went up their on Thursday evening, and found lots of handsome, fragrant trees to choose from, and a host of helpful volunteers (note the joke I’m avoiding here). We also learnt that they’re being dinged by Grinches in other ways too: they’re getting enough bad checks from customers that they’ve reluctantly decided not to take checks in the future.

So, if’ you’re honest and in need of a tree, Dunshee House would be happy to see you: 9 AM to 9 PM through the 23rd, 303 – 17th Avenue East. Tree loading in the alley just west of them. Or you can walk home with it like we did.
