CHS reported earlier this week on the Seattle Hearing Examiner’s decision to side with the Cascadia Center in a set of appeals brought against the “net-zero energy” development by a neighboring property owner. For anybody deeply interested in green development and for the rest of us, the Hearing Examiner’s published decision is an interesting read revealing many details of what some say will be a signature building for the city when it is completed and insights into the challenges progressive environmental design faces in the real world.
