Zachary Lewis memorial flowers at Federal and Republican

A collection of flowers with stones to keep a message from loved ones from blowing away with the wind marks the grassy lot where the body of Zachary Lewis was found early on Sunday, March 6th. The brutal beating of the 37-year-old was Seattle’s second murder of 2011 — five weeks later, authorities still cannot say who killed Lewis.

A reward has been posted asking for information about his last night and who Lewis was with when he was severely beaten and had both arms broken before being left in the empty lot just off Broadway.

The message at the site includes a “Love You Big Brother” note and ends “I’ll see you again where there’s no pain & tears… and your cat Diablo :)”
