Police track down 23rd/Aloha flashing suspect at Kenmore home

The suspect in a series of incidents involving a man exposing himself to children around Seattle including a September incident at 23rd and Aloha has been arrested, the Seattle Times reports. Detectives investigating the case learned that the man had been participating in the Occupy Seattle protests and he was tracked down at this home in Kenmore:

The arrest follows a Seattle police  investigation into the incidents, which occurred in various parts of the city.  Detectives discovered that the suspect had been at participating in the Occupy Seattle protest in Westlake Park. Police circulated fliers at the event in hopes of catching the man.

A Seattle Police spokesperson tells CHS that detectives were monitoring the man’s Facebook account and learned of his participation in the downtown protests. The detectives told officers patrolling Occupy Seattle to be on the lookout and distributed a suspect sketch but the search came up empty until Kenmore police made the arrest this morning.

The suspect was booked into King County Jail for investigation of indecent exposure.
