And a bunch of TVs. And old bikes. And a meat slicer. And a table saw. And a bunch of cell phones.
The vendor providing the pick-up wouldn’t venture a guess on how many pounds were collected but the people from Friendly Earth said it was a pretty good haul. We counted three trucks’ worth. Sunday’s electronics (etc.) recycling event put on by the St. Joseph’s EcoJustice group had people cleaning out their closets and clearing out an amazing menagerie of ancient computers, laptops and gizmos.
