SPD report on Boylston shooting released

Seattle Police have released the report on Sunday night’s shooting on Boylston that put a man in the hospital with life-threatening injuries. We’ve embedded the full report, below.


The victim in the crime was released from the hospital on Tuesday, fortunate that the bullet missed any vital organs. He told CHS the incident was a botched street robbery — and that he didn’t even have a chance to tell the robber no when the man demanded his wallet and his companion’s purse. The victim told CHS he believes the suspect was on drugs and was a “tweaker.”

SPD’s account of the incident based on the victim’s words in the minutes after he was shot and the details provided by the woman he was with at the time of the attack differs on what exactly went down immediately before the shooting. You’ll also note that police are dealing with more than the silver Jaguar, the vehicle of interest identified in preliminary reports. Here’s the full report:

I’m assuming the vehicle they are looking for is different than this one (and these suspects…):
