The QLAW Foundation GLBT Legal Clinic is partnering with the Ingersoll Gender Center to hold two on-site legal clinics focusing on issues of interest to transgender clients at Seattle Counseling Service (1216 Pine St. #300) on Thursday March 29, 2012 and Thursday May 10, 2012.

 Both clinics feature a one-hour presentation from 6:00-7:00, followed by an opportunity for individual 30-minute legal consultations with volunteer attorneys. The March 29 clinic presentation will focus on Washington’s Law Against Discrimination (WLAD); the May 5 presentation addresses name and gender changes on identity documents and birth certificates. The presentations are free and open to the public; individuals interested in reserving time for an attorney consultation beforehand should call 206.235.7235 and indicate the date of the clinic they wish to attend.
